Lead Data Analyst

Job Summary

As a remote contract position, the Lead Data Analyst will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of analytics for healthcare claims, driving data excellence and delivering high-impact insights while serving as a trusted advisor to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own the analytics lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-impact reporting aligned with clinical and financial objectives
• Design solutions for complex healthcare business challenges as the primary analytics lead for top-tier client requests
• Establish data integrity standards through peer code reviews and provide expert guidance on SQL optimization and data governance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent professional experience)
• At least 8 years of experience in healthcare analytics, focusing on healthcare claims data, population health, and member experience
• Proven ability in writing and optimizing SQL queries, with experience in visualization tools like Looker or Tableau
• Proficiency in Agile tools such as Jira for task management and Confluence for process documentation
