Lead Data Analyst

Job Summary

To support a major transit and infrastructure client, the full-time Lead Data Analyst will perform exploratory analytics, develop fraud detection processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform deep-dive exploratory analytics to identify anomalous patterns and potential fraud indicators
• Establish data discovery frameworks and design scalable processes for fraud case identification and escalation
• Collaborate with various teams to translate business risks into analytical use cases and monitoring strategies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, advanced data mining, or investigative analytics
• Experience in fraud detection or fraud risk management initiatives
• Proven ability to work independently in ambiguous and evolving environments
• Experience developing analytical processes and frameworks from concept to implementation
