Lead Data Center NOC Engineer
Job Summary
Leading incident response and operational ownership in a remote capacity, the full-time Lead Data Center NOC Engineer will provide technical leadership, mentor NOC staff, and ensure the uptime of critical infrastructure across modular and distributed data center environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the senior technical lead on shift, guiding L1 NOC technicians and serving as the primary escalation point for incidents
- Own the end-to-end incident lifecycle, driving root cause analysis and ensuring high-quality incident communications
- Monitor and troubleshoot physical infrastructure and networking operations, coordinating maintenance and enforcing security policies
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in NOC, data center, or infrastructure operations
- Demonstrated experience leading incidents or technical shifts
- Strong hands-on experience with DCIM/BMS platforms
- Advanced L2/L3 networking troubleshooting experience
- Solid understanding of power, cooling, and monitoring systems
