Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Designing and implementing real-time streaming pipelines using Kafka, Flink, and Kafka Streams
Leading architecture and design decisions for the event-driven data platform
Mentoring mid-level/senior engineers and fostering best practices in stream processing

Required Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in a similar role with a strong track record of leadership
Proven expertise with Apache Kafka and hands-on experience with Flink or similar real-time systems
Strong programming skills in Java, Scala, or Python
In-depth understanding of distributed systems and streaming semantics
Experience with CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code tools is a plus
