Lead Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Data Engineer to support the SABRE program at Hanscom AFB, MA.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply agile and DevSecOps methodologies to Enterprise Data Management for both batch and streaming services
• Design, implement, and optimize data pipeline services tailored to mission needs and objectives
• Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams to ensure data integrity, availability, and confidentiality

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical field, with a focus on security or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 6 years of enterprise data and information management experience
• 4+ years of experience working with real-time and batched scalable enterprise data architecture processes
• Hands-on data engineering experience with big data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark
• Strong knowledge of agile and DevSecOps methodologies as they apply to Enterprise Data Management
• Ability to design, implement, and optimize data pipelines to support both batch and streaming data services
