Lead Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Data Engineer to oversee the design and optimization of data pipelines and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and scale data engineering stack, including ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud infrastructure
• Lead and mentor a team of Data Engineers, promoting collaboration and continuous learning
• Collaborate with Analytics and Business teams to deliver a robust internal data mart for self-service reporting and advanced analytics

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (Master's preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or software engineering with technical leadership experience
• 2+ years of experience managing or mentoring technical teams in an Agile environment
• Deep expertise in cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, Snowflake, BigQuery)
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in building scalable data pipelines
