Lead Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Data Engineer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and scale data infrastructure to support enterprise-wide data initiatives
• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines and manage Snowflake environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data product requirements and ensure compliance with security policies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience
• 8 years of experience in leading data engineering and implementing scalable ETL/ELT solutions
• Knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Python)
• Understanding of database design, data exchange formats, and data movement concepts
• Experience in application development and data modeling
