Lead Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Data Engineer to architect and optimize data pipelines and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and models using various tools
• Manage and enhance the cloud-based data ecosystem, orchestrating data flows from multiple systems
• Mentor engineers and guide project execution through technical leadership and collaboration

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in data engineering or application development
• Expertise with Snowflake and at least one orchestration tool, preferably Matillion
• Strong coding experience in Python and SQL
• Familiarity with DataOps tools such as Git and DBT, and cloud environments like AWS
• Experience mentoring peers and leading technical initiatives
