Lead Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Engineer, Data - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of data pipelines on GCP and Snowflake
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective data solutions
• Optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of existing data pipelines

Required Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in designing and building data pipelines on cloud platforms, preferably GCP and Snowflake
• Expertise in modern data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake
• Proficiency in Python and advanced SQL for data manipulation and integration tasks
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools like dbt and Apache Airflow
