Lead Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and develop scalable data solutions
• Design, build, and deploy data warehouses and ETL/ELT pipelines primarily within Google Cloud and BigQuery
• Lead data projects, ensuring data integrity and accessibility while promoting a data-driven culture across the organization

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in analytics, engineering, computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering or analytics
• Expert proficiency in SQL, Python, dbt, and ETL/ELT pipeline development
• Strong experience in data modeling, schema design, and data cataloging
• Deep familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and experience with data warehouse platforms such as BigQuery or Snowflake
