Lead Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Data Engineer, Remote (US).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure services
• Own the data engineering framework, including pipeline patterns and orchestration standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with ownership of production systems
• 3+ years of experience in the Azure ecosystem, including Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks
• Advanced experience in programming with Python and SQL
• Experience designing and deploying data governance frameworks
