Lead Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Data Engineer to architect and manage their data platform for value-based care models in obesity and cardiometabolic health.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a unified data model and cloud-native infrastructure to support data ingestion and scalability
• Own the reliability of data pipelines, ensuring accurate integration of external data and real-time product interventions
• Lead data quality initiatives and collaborate with product and data science teams to enhance data utilization and model deployment

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with at least 3+ years in a Lead or Architectural role
• Deep familiarity with healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, and CPT
• Proficient in Python and SQL, with experience in cloud services like AWS
• Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake or Databricks
• Strong interest or practical experience in GenAI/LLM applications
