Lead Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Data Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor data engineers through code reviews, architectural decisions, and technical planning
• Design and implement scalable, secure data pipelines using dbt, Apache Airflow, and SQL
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud infrastructure and build data integrations

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and data services
• Familiarity with MySQL, SQL Server, and OLAP databases
• Experience using Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools
• Expertise in modern data tooling, particularly dbt and Apache Airflow
