Lead Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to lead technical architecture and engineering solutions in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Own delivery of complex, end-to-end engineering solutions from data generation to user-facing experiences
• Lead design and implementation of scalable, high-performance cloud-native data and application platforms
• Act as a senior technical leader, mentoring engineers and championing engineering best practices

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with scalable, distributed, cloud-native systems, including data platforms and APIs
• Strong experience in performance engineering, including profiling and system optimization
• Hands-on experience with backend technologies such as Node.js and Python
• Deep knowledge of AWS services and experience with Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with AI/ML systems in production, including model integration
