Lead Data Engineer

Job Summary

Providing technical leadership in a full-time capacity, the Lead Data Engineer will design, develop, and manage enterprise data platforms and integration services, ensuring data-driven decision-making across the organization while collaborating with business and technology stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, deployment, and support of scalable data integration and engineering solutions
• Collaborate with technology leadership to evaluate and implement new tools and best practices to improve platform performance
• Drive operational excellence through monitoring, optimization, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of data platforms and services

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise data integration and data engineering services
• Proficiency in building and optimizing data platforms using Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, and Azure cloud services
• Experience in developing and maintaining ELT/ETL frameworks and data governance capabilities
• Knowledge of AI, machine learning, and MLOps/DataOps practices
• Familiarity with modern engineering standards, including CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
