Lead Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Lead Data Engineer, this remote full-time position will design, build, and support scalable enterprise data solutions across AWS and Snowflake platforms, while driving data modernization initiatives and leading engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable data engineering solutions
• Build, optimize, and support data ingestion, transformation, and data warehouse pipelines using AWS, Snowflake, dbt, and Python
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver trusted data products and analytics solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Software application development or High School Diploma/GED and 10 years of experience in Software application development
• 10+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience delivering enterprise-scale data solutions
• 5+ years of experience with AWS data services and cloud platforms
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt
• Strong proficiency in SQL (7+ years) and Python (5+ years)
