Lead Data Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and development of enterprise data platforms, the full-time remote Lead Data Engineer will utilize AWS Services, Snowflake, dbt, Python, and SQL to deliver scalable data solutions while mentoring team members and driving engineering excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise data solutions using cloud technologies
• Develop and support data warehouses and ETL/ELT pipelines for analytics and reporting capabilities
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields, or High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience
• Advanced experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience designing and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like dbt or Apache Airflow
• Experience with data modeling and data engineering best practices
