Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Lead Data Engineer for a full-time remote position, responsible for architecting and evolving a modern cloud data platform, mentoring a growing team, and driving innovation in data engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring for the Data Engineering team, establishing engineering standards and best practices
- Design and support scalable enterprise data pipelines using Databricks Lakehouse, SQL, and Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop trusted data products that enable self-service analytics and AI capabilities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role
- Expert knowledge of the Databricks Lakehouse Platform and strong experience with SQL and Python
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including ADLS Gen2 and cloud security
- Demonstrated success in mentoring engineers and driving engineering excellence
