Lead Data Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance business intelligence and data services capabilities, the remote Lead Data Engineer will manage the performance of the Data Platform, design dynamic reporting solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights using AWS and Oracle technologies.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop parallel processing ETL solutions for optimal resource usage and faster processing
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and create mappings using various transformations
- Provide end-to-end technical guidance throughout the software development life cycle
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering using tools such as Informatica/IICS and Oracle DB
- Experience with AWS services and data platforms like Athena and Databricks
- 1+ years of experience in Unix shell scripting
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing and modern data lake concepts
