Lead Data Engineer
Job Summary
To lead the design and implementation of Microsoft data solutions, the full-time remote Lead Data Engineer will develop data engineering solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure technologies while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring data quality and compliance.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and deliver modern data engineering solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse Analytics
- Lead cross-functional teams in building data warehousing solutions, including architecture, implementation, and support
- Provide guidance on data governance, security, and disaster recovery initiatives across the cloud environment
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of experience in data warehouse architecture and data modeling
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Cloud Data Platform Solutions, including Azure Synapse and Data Factory
- Strong experience with Python programming and SQL development
- Ability to mentor team members in cloud technologies
