Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare analytics platform, the full-time Lead Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines while influencing architecture and mentoring engineers in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines that power analytics products and customer reporting
- Lead architecture discussions and make recommendations for data platform improvements
- Establish engineering standards and mentor other engineers to elevate team capabilities
Required qualifications
- 7-10+ years of software or data engineering experience, with at least 5 years in data engineering
- Expert-level SQL skills and strong Python experience focused on data processing
- Deep experience building and supporting large-scale ELT/ETL data pipelines
- Proven technical leadership experience mentoring engineers or leading small teams
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or Dagster
