Lead Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Data Scientist.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deploy ML/AI models to address business challenges in areas such as credit risk and fraud detection
• Analyze large datasets using SQL, Python, or similar tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data-driven strategies and enhance feature engineering processes

Required Qualifications

• Advanced Degree (MS/PhD) in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Engineering, or Statistics
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in a data science or analytics role, preferably in financial services
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience in documenting and presenting analysis to diverse audiences
• Proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
