Lead Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Data Scientist specializing in NLP and Financial Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret datasets to support the development of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms
• Lead the design, training, and deployment of NLP and transformer-based models for financial surveillance
• Provide guidance to junior team members on model development and exploratory data analysis

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of financial markets, compliance, surveillance, and regulatory technology
• Experience with data science and machine/deep learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
• Solid knowledge of statistics and data science principles
• Familiarity with NLP transfer learning and natural language processing toolkits
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and continuous delivery concepts in machine learning
