Lead Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Data Scientist.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead experimentation programs, including A/B tests and causal inference studies
• Develop and deploy predictive models for forecasting and segmentation across core business lines
• Manage and mentor a team of analysts and data scientists, setting technical standards and priorities

Required Qualifications

• Strong command of SQL, Python, and Git with expertise in statistical inference and experimental design
• Proven ability to translate ambiguous business questions into clear analytical problems
• Experience leading analytics or data science teams
• Familiarity with modern data stack tools such as BigQuery, dbt, Looker, or Airflow (preferred)
• Genuine excitement about AI and comfort operating in ambiguity
