Lead Data Scientist

Job Summary

Combining strong machine learning expertise with production engineering experience, the fully remote Lead Data Scientist will design, deploy, and scale data science solutions while supporting best practices across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement production ML pipelines and scalable data workflows
• Lead technical discussions and mentor teammates to promote knowledge sharing and engineering best practices
• Translate business needs into practical, scalable data science solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Data Science/ML, with at least 3 years in a lead role
• Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and common ML tooling (e.g., scikit-learn, XGBoost)
• Proficiency in building recommender systems, experimentation platforms, or growth analytics
• Experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake and ML orchestration tools
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
