Job Summary

Owning the AI and machine learning initiatives, the full-time Lead Data Scientist will frame business problems, build and evaluate models, and mentor team members while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Frame business and product questions, defining success metrics
• Build and evaluate AI models, including classic ML and LLM-based systems
• Mentor data scientists and establish data science best practices

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data science with end-to-end modeling ownership
• Deep expertise in statistics, machine learning, and model development
• Strong knowledge of modern AI technologies, including LLMs and prompt engineering
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with a proven track record of deploying models
• Experience using AI coding agents effectively in practical applications
