Lead Data Scientist

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Scientist to join the innovation team in a full-time remote role, responsible for building digital twins, developing predictive models, and evaluating AI systems within a live fulfillment environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of digital twin models to replicate warehouse operations and stress test operational strategies
• Design, test, and deploy AI-driven decision systems to enhance operational workflows and improve efficiency
• Translate operational data into financial models and partner with analysts to establish experimental frameworks for validation

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Data Science, Operations Research, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field
• 5+ years of applied data science experience in supply chain, logistics, or complex operational environments
• Advanced proficiency in Python, R, and SQL
• Proven experience building discrete-event simulations or digital twin systems using relevant tools
• Strong track record of deploying machine learning and optimization models in live production settings
