Lead Data Scientist

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Lead Data Scientist will independently apply advanced data science and AI techniques to solve complex problems for the School (PreK-12) business unit, develop innovative methodologies, and provide technical mentorship while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Independently apply advanced data science and AI techniques to drive business outcomes in the K-12 educational context
• Develop scalable solutions and structured frameworks to address complex challenges
• Foster collaboration across technical and non-technical teams, clearly communicating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 4-7 years of professional experience delivering impactful data science/AI projects
• Advanced knowledge in data science/AI with industry experience in real-world applications
• Experience managing the full operational lifecycle of data science/AI models
• Strong Python skills with a background in writing production-quality, scalable code
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
