Lead Data Scientist

Job Summary

Owning the intelligence layer of the Unified Data Foundation, the full-time Lead Data Scientist will design and implement predictive models, run experiments to prove causation, and ensure model quality and evaluation while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and run experimentation engines to establish causal relationships in fundraising actions
• Build predictive and forecasting models to assess donor lifetime value and retention risks
• Monitor model quality and performance, ensuring AI products maintain trustworthiness post-deployment

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of applied data science experience with production-level machine learning
• Expertise in causal inference and experimentation methodologies
• Proficiency in predictive and statistical modeling techniques
• Strong skills in Python and SQL, with familiarity in modern ML and statistics tools
• Experience with production ML processes, including deployment and monitoring of models
