Job Summary

Owning the AI and machine learning processes, the full-time Lead Data Scientist will frame business problems, build and evaluate models for AI products, and mentor team members while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Frame business and product questions, defining success metrics
• Build and evaluate models, including classic ML and LLM-based systems
• Mentor data scientists and establish data science best practices

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data science with end-to-end modeling ownership
• Deep expertise in statistics, machine learning, and model development
• Strong knowledge of modern AI technologies, including LLMs and prompt engineering
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience deploying models in production
• Experience using AI coding agents effectively in practical applications
