Lead Data Scientist

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Lead Data Scientist will design and validate predictive models, apply causal inference techniques, and manage the full lifecycle of models while collaborating with client teams to enhance understanding of user behavior and business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and validate predictive models to analyze user behavior and business performance
• Apply causal inference techniques to guide client stakeholders in making confident decisions
• Own the entire model lifecycle from exploratory analysis to deployment and monitoring in production environments

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in predictive analytics, applied statistics, or machine learning
• Deep fluency in predictive modeling techniques, including generalized linear models and causal inference
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience deploying models in production
• Proficiency in SQL, Spark, and Python
• A graduate degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a quantitative or behavioral field or equivalent experience
