Lead Data Specialist
Job Summary
To support the DITCO Transition Program Management Office, the contract Lead Data Specialist will manage the master transition inventory and reconciliation functions, ensuring data integrity and validation across telecommunications registries while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Control the master transition inventory database, ensuring up-to-date and optimized data tracking structures for daily reporting
- Direct the validation of GSA's Transition Inventory against authoritative DoD network registries to maintain accurate tracking records
- Formulate and implement data-quality validation rules to identify and resolve cross-system inventory discrepancies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related technical/scientific discipline
- 5+ years of IT experience, particularly in database management and telecommunications inventory reconciliation
- Active or interim Tier 1 (T1/NACI) security clearance eligibility
- Expertise in database management and large-scale data cleansing
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and enterprise relational database query tools
