Lead Data Specialist
Job Summary
To support the Telecommunications Services Support Team (TSST), the full-time contracted Lead Data Specialist will manage the master transition inventory and reconciliation functions, ensuring data integrity across complex telecommunications registries while working remotely with a preference for candidates near Scott Air Force Base, IL.
Key responsibilities
- Control and optimize the master transition inventory database for daily reporting
- Direct the validation of GSA's Transition Inventory against authoritative DoD network registries
- Formulate and implement data-quality validation rules to identify inventory discrepancies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of IT experience with expertise in database management and telecommunications inventory reconciliation
- Active or interim Tier 1 (T1/NACI) security clearance
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and enterprise relational database query tools
- Experience operating within a federal contracting data framework and compliance with cybersecurity instructions
