Lead Database Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Database Administrator.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in administering and optimizing databases using various AWS services and NoSQL solutions
• Develop and maintain infrastructure and databases using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and configuration management tools
• Oversee database administration functions, ensuring smooth transitions to new technologies and managing backup and recovery plans

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Seven years of experience in database administration and designing scalable NoSQL solutions
• Five years of experience with AWS Cloud services including RDS, DynamoDB, and EC2
• Two years of experience using Golang for backend development and building RESTful APIs
• Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana
