Lead Database Engineer

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of database engineers to design, implement, and maintain high-availability database systems using PostgreSQL
• Mentor team members and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning
• Participate in project planning and sprint ceremonies to deliver database solutions in an Agile environment

Required Qualifications

• BS degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in Database Engineering, Systems Engineering, DevOps, and/or SRE
• 3+ years of experience leading and mentoring a team of engineers specializing in database systems
• Experience with cloud-based compute, storage, and containerization solutions (Azure & Kubernetes preferred)
• Expertise in Agile methodology, DevOps, Scrum, ITSM, and/or ITIL principles
