Lead Decision Scientist

Job Summary

To support strategic decision-making, the remote Lead Decision Scientist will partner with product, engineering, marketing, and finance teams, delivering insights that influence roadmaps and resource allocation while shaping an AI-native organization.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic thought partner for cross-functional teams, identifying gaps between data insights and team assumptions
• Present clear narratives to leadership and teams, ensuring insights lead to actionable outcomes
• Establish causality using appropriate tools and develop metrics strategies that reflect user experiences and business objectives

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or decision science within a consumer tech company
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience
• Proven experience with causal inference methods in applied settings
• Demonstrated ability to influence product or business strategy through data
• Proficiency in SQL and Python/R for statistical analysis
