Lead Decision Scientist

Job Summary

As a strategic partner embedded with cross-functional teams, the remote Lead Decision Scientist will own the analytical narrative for web product initiatives, utilizing statistical inference and causal analysis to drive decision-making and resource allocation.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and evangelize web analytics roadmaps, bridging gaps between data insights and team assumptions
• Diagnose full-funnel user experiences and present actionable narratives to leadership and working teams
• Establish and implement metrics strategies to measure user engagement and business performance effectively

Required qualifications

• 6+ years in an analytics, data science, or decision science role at a consumer tech company
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated experience with causal inference methods in applied settings
• Proficiency in SQL and Python/R for statistical analysis
• Experience with experimentation platforms and proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) or Adobe Analytics
