Job Summary
As a remote full-time Lead Design Specialist, the candidate will manage New Product Development, Product Improvement, and Sustaining Changes for a product line, while advising on complex design decisions and mentoring junior team members.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee design tasks and manage work assignments to meet project deadlines while mentoring team members
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure optimal design from a manufacturing perspective
- Prepare best practice documentation and implement new procedures to streamline design processes and reduce market time
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of CREO modeling expertise
- Experience in large mechanical assembly design
- Basic understanding of team leadership qualities and practices
- US citizenship or permanent residency
