Job Summary
Supporting an assigned group of engineers and technicians, the full-time Lead Designer for Substations will provide technical drafting and design support for infrastructure projects, utilizing 3D modeling software to develop accurate plans while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop infrastructure project plans using 3D modeling software
- Provide technical guidance to technicians based on design knowledge and experience
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure project standards and procedures are met
Required qualifications
- Two-year technical degree in Technical Drafting or equivalent
- 10 or more years of infrastructure-related experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with 3D software programs such as AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit
- Detailed drafting experience with substation electrical equipment and related designs
- Permanent authorization to work in the US
