Lead Developer in Rust/C

Job Summary

Acting as the technical authority for the NXLog Agent, the full-time remote Lead Developer in Rust/C & AI Orchestration will lead a cross-functional team in refactoring legacy components, ensuring high-quality delivery, and implementing AI-assisted development workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority and quality gate for the NXLog Agent, performing deep code reviews and driving architectural decisions
• Define and implement AI-assisted development workflows, including validation and verification standards
• Mentor engineers, shape hiring processes, and optimize CI/CD pipelines across multiple platforms

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in multiplatform-system programming with a focus on memory management and cross-platform development
• Strong production-level experience with Rust, particularly in concurrent and high-performance systems
• Deep understanding of low-level systems concepts, including concurrency, networking, and IPC
• Hands-on experience integrating AI coding tools into development workflows
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD systems and experience with modern data systems and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
