Lead Development Manager
Job Summary
Leading the Appian center of excellence remotely, the full-time Lead Development Manager will set the strategy for Appian solution delivery, guide architecture and development standards, and mentor a team of developers to deliver scalable applications that meet business needs.
Key responsibilities
- Set the strategic use of the Appian platform across projects and initiatives, defining design patterns and development standards
- Guide project scoping and delivery leadership, ensuring alignment with timelines and quality across multiple projects
- Manage, mentor, and develop the technical team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field
- 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in applications development leadership
- Deep technical experience with the Appian platform and established design patterns
- Proven people leadership experience, including mentoring developers and managing teams
- Experience with integration technologies such as web services, FTP, and JMS
