Lead Development Manager
Job Summary
Leading the Appian center of excellence remotely, the full-time Lead Development Manager will set strategic direction, guide architecture and development standards, and mentor a team to deliver scalable applications while ensuring alignment with business needs.
Key responsibilities
- Define and promote Appian design patterns and development standards across projects
- Guide project scoping, solution planning, and oversee multiple projects to ensure timely and quality delivery
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field
- 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in applications development leadership
- Deep technical experience with the Appian platform and established design patterns
- Strong background in software delivery methods and application architecture
- Proven experience in managing teams and mentoring developers
