Lead DevOps Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead DevOps Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and secure data pipelines and data warehouses
• Drive the adoption of DevOps principles and practices across data engineering initiatives
• Mentor and guide a team of data engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field; Master's degree preferred
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role focusing on DevOps practices
• Proven expertise in designing and building large-scale data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools and PostgreSQL
• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and strong SQL skills
