Lead DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer responsible for infrastructure and software deployment automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cloud implementations, upgrades, migrations, and change requests on client cloud environments
- Create and implement scripts to automate everyday operations and establish deployment pipelines
- Provide strategic analysis of technology needs and facilitate discussions to define business requirements
Required Qualifications
- At least 7 years of software development and IT operations experience
- Experience with continuous integration/delivery automation tools and infrastructure automation
- Experience writing automation for at least one cloud platform (AWS preferred)
- Strong programming skills with at least one dynamically typed language such as Python, Perl, or Ruby
- Knowledge of Linux administration and Agile development methodology
