Lead DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead DevOps / Platform Engineer specializing in Kafka and OpenSearch.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and operate Kafka and OpenSearch clusters for large-scale workloads
• Define scaling patterns, data retention, and disaster recovery across environments
• Lead the adoption of automation tools and design CI/CD workflows for streaming and search services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform, or SRE roles with distributed data services
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation
• Deep knowledge of Kafka, OpenSearch, and large-scale data platforms
• Proficiency with Python, Bash, and automation frameworks
