Lead DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Lead DevOps Engineer, responsible for owning and evolving cloud infrastructure, CI/CD platforms, and building the SRE function from scratch in a full-time remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and manage the SRE practice, including on-call rotations and observability dashboards
• Oversee AWS multi-account migration with zero unplanned downtime
• Implement automated deployment rollbacks and monthly cost reporting for leadership

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience with AWS infrastructure and Terraform
• Hands-on experience building SRE functions and CI/CD pipeline ownership
• Experience with multi-site environments and PaaS or microservices
• Familiarity with SRE tooling such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and PagerDuty
• Proven ability to manage technical controls for SOC 2 Type I compliance
