Lead DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing infrastructure team, the full-time Lead DevOps Engineer will own and evolve cloud infrastructure, build the SRE function from scratch, and ensure compliance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage the SRE practice, including on-call rotation, SLA/SLO definitions, and observability dashboards
• Complete the migration of production workloads to an isolated AWS multi-account setup with zero unplanned downtime
• Implement automated deployment rollback processes and provide monthly cost reporting to leadership

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience with AWS infrastructure and deep expertise in Terraform
• Hands-on experience building the SRE function from the ground up
• Proven ownership of CI/CD pipelines in previous roles
• Experience with PagerDuty and establishing on-call rotations
• Familiarity with SRE tooling such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and incident management
