Lead DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing infrastructure, the full-time Lead DevOps Engineer will own and evolve cloud infrastructure, build the SRE function from scratch, and manage CI/CD platforms in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish the SRE practice, including on-call rotation, SLA/SLO definitions, and observability dashboards
• Complete the AWS multi-account migration with zero unplanned downtime
• Deliver a SOC 2 Type I audit-ready infrastructure evidence package and implement automated deployment rollback for ECS and Lambda

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of production AWS infrastructure experience with deep Terraform expertise
• Hands-on experience building the SRE function from scratch with complete ownership
• Experience with multi-site companies utilizing PaaS or microservices
• Prior ownership of CI/CD pipelines in previous roles
• Familiarity with PagerDuty and establishing an on-call rotation
