Lead DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing infrastructure team, the full-time Lead DevOps Engineer will manage and evolve cloud infrastructure, CI/CD platforms, and build the SRE function from the ground up in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish the SRE practice, including on-call rotation, SLA/SLO definitions, and observability dashboards
• Oversee the AWS multi-account migration to ensure zero unplanned downtime during production workload transfers
• Implement automated deployment rollback processes and monthly cost reporting for leadership

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience with AWS infrastructure and Terraform expertise
• Hands-on experience in building SRE functions and CI/CD pipeline ownership
• Experience with multi-site companies utilizing PaaS or microservices
• Proficiency with SRE tooling such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and PagerDuty
• Strong documentation skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving and reliability
