Lead DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing digital media company, the full-time Lead DevOps Engineer will own and evolve cloud infrastructure, CI/CD platforms, and compliance posture while building the SRE function from scratch in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish the SRE practice, including on-call rotation, SLA/SLO definitions, and observability dashboards
• Complete the AWS multi-account migration with zero unplanned downtime
• Deliver SOC 2 Type I audit-ready infrastructure evidence package and implement automated deployment rollback for ECS and Lambda

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience with AWS and Terraform
• Hands-on experience building the SRE function from scratch
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline ownership and SRE tooling
• Familiarity with multi-site company operations involving PaaS or microservices
• Experience configuring PagerDuty and managing on-call rotations
